This series of unique prints are what remains of ice flowers in the shape of Alpine endangered plants. The plants were chosen because they will disappear due to climate change and the retreat of Alpine glaciers. The fragility of our ecosystem is embodied by the transient nature of these melting flowers, of which only a ghost image remains. The cyanotype paper, sensitive to weather conditions, reacts differently in the three different locations (Munich, Verona and Ascoli Piceno), showing us that different latitudes have a different effect on the images.
